me hating the crowlord humour bits in 4x01 bc they drag on and don't make me laugh and are there 100% as a joke bit, but begrudgingly being like "yeah okay you can stay" bc the emphasis on titles and social climbing nicely juxtaposes callum's discomfort with the former and post-rebirth viren's death due to the latter
Lmao ok i kinda want to hear all of your theories, but if i had to choose i'd pick the crowlord one. Never seen a theory about him before! :)
There’s not really much to say here, but basically I have a theory that Pip, Harrow’s songbird, could have served as the Crowlord. Why? Well, Pip IS a bird and could likely coordinate with any messenger birds. They’re evidently quite intelligent and I don’t think it’s out of the question. Additionally we already at least one royal family member has the ability to communicate with animals, maybe there’s a reason Pip was such a close companion to Harrow? Finally, and what I think is most significant, all the times the absence of the Crowlord is brought up, it is after Harrow’s death, and once Viren tries to assert his position as ruler of Katolis. This rather suggests to me that Viren may have played a part in the absence of the Crowlord, what is the one character we see Viren do something to in Katolis that would prevent them from carrying out such duties? Pip, at first imprisoning them until they escape and fly away and would thus have been absent for the entire time the Crowlord was called upon.
This is certainly one of my more unlikely theories and I accept that, I mainly brought it up in my post as I don’t see much speculation as to the Crowlord’s absence.
Does anybody else suspect;
Claudia = Crowlord

so cute i’m gonna cry!!
So what are your thoughts on the mysterious Crow Lord? Where do you think he was during the first 3 seasons? Do you think he's as nice and goofy as the Crow Master, or a potential villain judging by the sinister silhouette we saw of him in the end credit images?
i honestly forgot crowlord was in the end credits, lol! i think given crowmaster’s popularity, i could see crowlord being a running gag and having a sort of cameo appearance at one point as a rather grumpy old man, but i don’t think he’ll level up in importance. i could be wrong tho!
associate crowlord continues to vex me with jokes that aren't that funny but are thematically relevant. stupid title bullshit in 4x01 but with viren callum and terry all likewise having scenes over how they want to be addressed/their titles and names is like. sure whatever. but 7x05's lil org chart joke and how ezran is at the Top of a Hierarchy in season before the "let's dismantle the cosmic (magical) hierarchy" arc? sure. Sure
