Crown Day Royal Balcony Appearance
Following the Royal Procession, members of the Royal Family stood on the balcony of Arielen Palace to watch the Air Force fly pass and wave to the crowds.
The senior royals were also joined by the daughters of The Duke and Duchess of Ridgeline (The King’s nieces); HRH Princess Adrienne, HRH Princess Louisa, and HRH Princess Elise of Ridgeline.
Crown Day Royal Military Procession
The Crown Day celebrations continue with a military procession through the streets including members of the Royal Family.
At the front of the Royal Procession is His Majesty The King, leading on horseback in his military regalia. His his followed by the three royal dukes; HRH The Crown Prince; Duke of Newcrest (The King’s son), HRH The Duke of Bridgeview (The King’s son), and HRH The Duke of Ridgeline (The King’s brother).
They were then followed by the Royal Carriages. Firstly Her Majesty The Queen, was joined by her sister-in-law Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Ridgeline.
In the second carriage was Her Royal Highness The Crown Princess; Duchess of Newcrest with her three children; HRH Prince Magnus, HRH Prince Vincent, HRH Princess Leonore and HRH Prince Andreas of Newcrest.
And in the third and final carriage was Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal with her husband Hugh Pierson; The Earl of Retland, joined by Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Bridgeview and her eldest child HRH Prince Gabriel of Bridgeview.
The Crown's Review
Commonly known as Crown Day
Today marks Crown Day in Landova, the annual celebration of His Majesty The King’s Birthday and a longstanding tradition within the kingdom.
The day begins with the annual military ceremony known as The Crown’s Review, during which representatives of three chosen regiments of the Armed Forces parade before The King, as Head of the Armed Forces, and members of the Royal Family. Following the review, The King salutes his troops, emphasising his commitment and respect to them.
Also taking part in the salute was the Royal Honorary Colonels; HM The Queen, HRH The Crown Prince, HRH The Crown Princess, HRH The Duke of Bridgeview, HRH The Duke of Ridgeline, and HRH The Princess Royal.
This year, His Majesty The King was joined by many members of the Royal Family;
