2012 proved to be an interesting year for Crown Tapes and it feels great to be wrapping up the year on this note. Society of Surgeons "The Corridors of the Med. Fac. Society" C20 Society of Surgeons is the collaborative project of M. Chami (Crown of Cerberus/Koufar/etc) and Shane Church (Hostage Pageant, Crooked Necks, etc). It focuses on the elite, secret societies concerning doctors and their fellow lawyers, hospital managers, nurses, and other allies. Men in suits shaking hands with doctors in their bloody scrubs. Deals made, and deals proposed concerning the fates of celebrities, and other high profile people in need of "medical attention". Swirling, unnerving tape loops mixed with spastic and violent harsh explosions. Suffocating like the sleeping gas mask being placed over your face. Dubbed on chrome tapes for extra loudness. Summer Update

Cheers and Hails!

Its been quite some time since we last had an update so I figured I'd catch you folks up on whats been happening with Crown Tapes.

First off, the Crimes of the Crown crew (CoC, Miscreant, Striations) managed its first successful assault on the Pacific Northwest! Many thanks to the following for a goddamn good time: -Kai, Victoria, their roommates and the rest of Olympia. It was absolutely beautiful.

-Sizzle for having the best pizza ever.

-Eric and Bondage Culture Distribution for the killer art.

-Any and all folks who purchased stuff from us.

Now that we're finally back and getting into the swing of "normal living", I'd like to post a few updates about the label and some new offers.

First off, there will be only one more Crown Tapes release left for this year and it will be the Society of Surgeons cassette. All of the others will see the light of day at the beginning of the year. Came home to some wild stuff in regards to work, and repairs on my car, so it will be slow for the rest of the year.

However though, I currently have the last copies of the Winters in Osaka/Plastic Crimewave collaboration LP, as well as the last copes of the Winters in Osaka LP "Clandestine." Basically I'm going to be offering a special deal on the two. You can buy both records for $18USPPD or $20ROTW. There are only 9 copes of the WIO/PC and 7 Clandestine, so there will be only 7 slots open for this deal.

Edition of 25. The first of many to come from the Crimes of the Crown collective. Crude synth work meets crude tape loops. Background music for the training and preparation of the damned. Edition of 50. Finnish.Noisecore.Supremacy. Last recordings ever made in their old rehearsal space. Slipping in and out of potential mid tempo musicality, yet always maintaining that excellent noisecore chaos. Features excellent Industrial sounds as well. I'm beyond proud to be releasing this. Edition of 50. The newest member to join the No Coast Power Electronics family. An extremely strong follow up to the "Heavy Losses" debut on Fusty Cunt. "Soporific Miasma" has Dan demonstrating how the rushed and busy lives of most humans relate exactly the same to Locusts but on a much more complex level. Do we think we are actually better and stronger then a swarm of locusts, or are we apart of one all the same....struggling to survive. Recorded with the same mentality in mind.
