ALBUMS OF THE WEEK. Here are the nine albums that got the most plays from me this week. The clear winner this time was Dissection’s Reinkaos. This was an exceptional week filled with new-to-me albums. Spirit Adrift’s “Enlightened in Eternity” stayed on the list, and is one of my favorite 2020 releases. Wayfarer’s “A Romance With Violence” is an awesome new black metal album with an “old west” motif that blew me away. Undeath’s new drop, “Lesions of a Different Kind,” might be the filthiest death metal album this year. I got an old Silberbach tape, “Inferno,” that carries the torch for German BM nicely.
