The eldest son of the late Lord Lefford, Eliar knew early on that it was his duty to follow in his father’s footsteps and ascend the title of ruling lord when it came to his passing but Eliar? Well, Eliar truthfully didn’t want that for himself. He had always had a fascination for the arts, music and theatre and everything beautiful in the world, and he wanted to travel to see it all. But alas, his father saw to it that he stayed to his studies so that he would grow up a good lord, a man worthy of being the lord of the Westerlands.
As he grew older, his fascination for things beautiful began to transcend to the women of court. With an eloquent tongue and a charming smile, Eliar was able to woo most women with perfected ease and he began to be known as quite the charmer, a man of nobility that wasn’t to be bothered by the thought of betrothal - despite his father urging Eliar to find a woman of noble birth to wed so that she could bear him heirs. For many years, the young nobleman continued life like this - tending to court, but wooing the ladies and taking them to bed almost as quickly as he changed clothes - until, eventually, his father introduced him to the daughters of Lord Arryn. What caught his eye, though, was Lady Ursula.
The girl was beautiful, beyond so, and though she was a few years younger than he was, he certainly found himself wanting to take her and show her how beautiful he believed she was. And by the Gods, it seemed as though Ursula felt the same. It wasn’t long before the two were announcing their marriage to the Westerlands and soon enough, they were wed. Not much longer after that, they welcomed their first child - a boy - into the world. It was just a couple of months after his boy’s arrival into the world that his father passed, and soon he was ascended to his birthright.
It’s been five years since then, and though it wasn’t something he had truthfully wanted for himself, he took to it pretty easily. Much like he did wooing women, he was able to use his words to calm his vassals and allow their faith in House Lefford to grow, and with his wife more than just a trophy that blessed him with now three sons - something that was pleasing to him - he knew he had what it took to lead the Westerlands to prosperity.
He has skill in both the flute and the harp, but where he truly shines is the lute and his voice is one that can rival some of the best minstrels in Westeros.
While he was taught how to wield a sword, he much prefers using a knife for his fighting - he enjoys the rush of the close-combat. The sword he wields on his hip is mostly decorative, though he has been known to unsheathe it if someone questions his or his wife’s honor.
Though he has more attraction for females, there has been a male or two that have fallen into bed with him - if you ask him, he believes he has the soul of a Dornish men, both with the way he loves all things beautiful and with the way he detests the Targaryens.
Growing up, he had heard his grandfather’s tales of what the Targaryens did to the Westerlands and as such, he has a deep hatred for them and he is intent on keeping the West aligned with the North.

LADY ROWENA STARK is the youngest child of jon & lyra stark — she is the baby of the family , the runt of the litter , and with that has always come a certain amount of extra protection ; she’s always been a little sheltered , clinging to the edges of her father’s cloak , hiding in her mother’s shadow , trailing after her older siblings. she’s always been soft as freshly fallen snow , not a trace of harsh winter to be found in her bones. rowena takes after her lord father greatly , mirroring his selflessness , sensitivity , and observant nature with a similarly solemn look on her face ; always burning with the need to prove herself.
as a young child , she was quite sickly , and for a period of time from ages one to eight , she regularly took on fevers that would leave her bedridden. the cause of this was never identified , but in time she mostly grew out of them , though she can still remember the look of fear on her parent’s faces when they would sit with her. it’s something she cannot help but feel guilt for. while cooped up in her room , rowena would constantly read or otherwise beg for stories from anyone who would listen. she loves to learn , always has ; her voracious appetite for knowledge has always been one of her driving forces. her other , of course , is her family. the stark children were raised knowing the importance of family , and her biggest source of pride is such. she loves her siblings fiercely , and one of the only times you may glimpse the rare baring of her fangs is when it comes to protecting her loved ones. that’s not to say she doesn’t value others , of course , in fact she thinks that every life is important , every person should be afforded the same respect & kindness regardless of their station.
while she loves her mother dearly , she was especially close with jon , always at his heels as a child , often slipping away from her lessons to creep after him , curious , eager , & full of love. her father’s death was like a crack in a mirror , one that shattered the world around her. she has taken his demise with a particular amount of difficulty : at first , she refused to believe he was truly gone , and went through fits of dissociation as a means of coping. her grief is the thread which stitches the various moments of her life together. even so , she knows she must carry on , if only for the sake of his memory & the love she still holds for the rest of her family. the pack survives , after all — or at least that’s what she holds faith in , though it does not make it any easier.
going into the landsmeet , rowena has been feeling quite anxious. she’s heard the stories , even whispered as they’ve been , about the dragon queen. not only this , but she fears for the safety of her family in king’s landing , and it is the point of paranoia which has begun plaguing her relentlessly. she knows very well the gruesome history of house stark & their few travels south.

selyse was one of many children of the ruling lord of saltcliffe and his ironborn rock wife , but as the only daughter , SHE SHONE. with her beauty , and charm , she was the pride of the otherwise overlooked saltcliffe. along with the rest of the islands , she was raised to worship the drift wood that symbolized the drowned god and sit p r e t t i l y while her brothers set sails.
her life played out properly -- at least , it was MEANT to. she was young when she fell in love to a boy of the islands. they were young when they were betrothed. he was young when he died. life continued , though. her father gave her the time to mourn him , but she’s sure it’s only a matter of time until SOMEONE comes knocking at their door. while she knows she’s but a breath away from becoming someone’s wife , her heart is still heavy with the loss.

Background:
Second youngest daughter of Garlan Tyrell and Leonette Fossoway she started life as a bright eyed girl who’s days were spent in wonder. Her mind longed for knowledge and she was endless in her pursuit of it, curiosity knowing no bounds and most of her first ten summers were spent engrossed in whatever scroll or tome she could get her hands on.
However once she felt as though she had learnt enough, she soon grew bored and tired with her life and began to look for increasingly more daring ways of livening it up. The girl who would spent hours reading was quickly replaced by one who liked to experience things first hand instead and she spent hours thinking of increasingly more elaborate ways to slip away and indulge in whatever new experience she could.
Her restless nature led her to becoming more and more reckless and on more than one occasion she’s been just one step away from a scandal. While she’d never do anything to hurt her family, she has little care for whether or not she is still deemed marriageable or not. The decision was taken out of her control however and she was soon told of her match to Mateo Clegane, much to her indifference.
Headcanons:
Her tendency to get bored with life means that she has turned her hand to many a talent over the years. Having grown bored of musical instruments or embroidery - both things she has mastered quite well - Eliana turned her attention to less ladylike pursuits. With a few bats of her eyelashes she managed to convince a young squire to teach her how to wield a sword and she practiced daily until she was even better than him. It’s a skill that she does not make all that public but she has been known on occasion to use it to embarrass any man she feels as though has gotten too familiar or complacent with her.
Eliana vastly prefers the company of woman to that of men, knowing that like her most ladies have far more to them than simply their family name. She hates being coddled or treated as fragile or delicate and as such can become rather exasperated in the company of men. In her mind there is no need for competition between women and they should instead be lifting each other up when they are all far more talented than men give them credit for. Of course it helps that her self confidence is that high that even if it was a competition she would be certain she would win.
The Reach has long been something of her playground and while she feels as though she knows other kingdoms quite well due to her endless reading, she truly knows some areas like the back of her hand. Whether it was horse riding or boating she feels as though she has explored every inch of the kingdom that she calls home and she would happily continue to explore it for the rest of her life. She does not have a huge amount of interest in the other kingdoms so when she was informed that her betrothal would require moving away from
Personality:
For the most part she plays the part of a Lady quite well, eloquently spoken and polite as she needs to be but Eliana has always been a law unto herself. Strong willed and sharp tongued there are moments when she is reminiscent of her great grandmother. She possesses the same intelligence that her aunt once did but has always lacked the drive and ambition to apply it to anything other than her own enjoyment. Her moods are changeable and she is used to getting what she wants one way or another. She is not completely cold hearted but she can be quite self serving and there are only a handful of people who can count themselves lucky enough that she genuinely cares about them. Her House and family are the most important thing to her and for all she has a tendency to push the boundaries of what is acceptable, she would never bring any real shame or problems upon them. Although her loyalty is hard won, once it is there is nothing she would not do for a person. She protects anyone she calls a friend fiercely and although they are few and far between she holds them very dear.

the story surrounding kol stone is a slightly complicated and somewhat despondent one. for nothing was waiting for the young child when he entered the world besides his own arrogance to keep him warm. beginning in the vale of arryn , all the way to the pits of braavos ---- KOL STONE was not a name you’d have acknowledged ( in fact , you may have frowned at the bastard name. ) but it would be one you’d come to know.
his mother , to put it frank , was a prostitute at one of the gulltown brothels. and his father? well , his father was a lord from HOUSE LYNDERLY. their union , as brief as it was , would come to conceive one of the most dangerous sellswords in the entire of westeros. but to begin with , kol stone was simply a bastard ; with a mother whom was often more preoccupied with other activities and often wouldn’t have noticed if her son was even alive, and a father he had never met but received monthly funds from.
raised in a brothel , and often kicked out into the streets when the place got too busy , SURVIVAL was something kol had to learn early on. from a child he was often seen scavenging the streets , and thieving from merchants wherever possible ; and often he succeeded with ease , for many commented on how swift , nimble , and quick the little bastard was.
he was ten when his mother disappeared. although , he never knew for certain if his mother simply left with one of her many customers or had died in some ditch somewhere in gulltown. nonetheless , kol took the opportunity ( or much rather , was forced to take the opportunity. ) to leave gulltown for better things.
BETTER THINGS was a far more hopeful word than anticipated. the road from gulltown to snakewood was a long & difficult one , but it was kol’s first taste of the real world and some true independence. whatever possessed him to think he would be accepted into his father’s home with open arms , he doesn’t know , but he was an ORPHAN looking for some stability for a change. house lynderly housed him for a full year ---- at the time , kol was the only living son of his father & people were beginning to think he’d be the only lynderly child they’d be blessed with. his father was an honorable man , but a desperate one , and at one point : had even considered asking the queen for legitimacy.
but then , his father had a child. his wife had finally given him a legitimate son , a legitimate heir. the wife , whom had despised her husband’s bastard the moment he shuffled in through the doors , banished him from her home . but his first taste at wealth & prosperity lingered. his father said ‘ TAKE THE BLACK ’ and urged him towards the wall , but kol had other ideas. instead , towards the coast , kol managed to gain ( or perhaps manipulate. ) employment from a braavosi merchant in exchange for passage across the narrow sea.
BRAAVOS was where kol flourished. between street fights he managed to pick or organise , and a few minor contracts after that , he began to get a reputation for his success in swinging a sword or throwing a punch. many flocked to watch , and within a few year he was beginning to sell his title as a SELLSWORD within essos.
he returned home to westeros in his early thirties. although braavos had become more his home than the vale had , he traveled western westeros ( mainly throughout the stormlands , the reach , and briefly through dorne. ) taking up whatever contracts nobility or commoners threw at him , and for the right coin? he could turn a blind eye to any morals or decency ; especially as long as his belly was full & he had a roof over his head.

when she was ten years old, her mother died. they had not been terribly close, but she still felt pity and loss. it was then that she clung to her aunt more, and they watched as a viper entered the golden tooth and ensnared her father. her stepmother was like all the tales a jealous and vapid woman. ursula loathed her greatly. as she grew older she smirked at her stepmother and proclaimed that jealousy would not make the woman any prettier.
at the age of fourteen a betrothal was announced. when she came of age, she was to marry lancel westerling who was twenty years her senior, and was not worthy of her love. she hated how twisted her father’s mind had become from the viper’s influence, who wanted her to have a miserable life. knowing that her father would not see reason, ursula vowed to take matters into her own hands and undermine her father’s plans to seal her future.

thalia greyjoy is the first born child of theon grejoy & sansa stark . though she’s always been a bit of a handful for them , she loves them dearly . she also loves her sister dearly . her family means a lot to them , and she’s willing to do whatever it takes to protect them , especially her younger sister . her loyalties will always be with her family . ( even tho she wants to steal the salt throne srry @ her cousins )
she may have been raised in winterfell , but iron born is in her blood & heart . she’s been to the iron islands quite often and loves it far more than winterfell, though the north has grown on her .
she’s very lady like but at the same time , she’s not ? she loves fancy dresses , jewls , and parties , but she also loves riding horses , adventurous , hunting , learning to swing a sword . she was never afraid to play in the dirt & get dirty like the non noble kids her age did . even now she can be found doing those things . if there’s one thing she doesn’t like , it’s boredom .
if there’s one thing she loves , it’s being the center of attention . she likes to make her presence known . thalia is a little vain and self centered tbh she knows she’s pretty and it uses it to her advantage .
thalia is quite power hungry . with bastard cousins , she is well aware of her higher rank . she has hopes of being able to becoming the ruling lady of the iron islands in the future . she wants to marry into a powerful house ,, nd who knows maybe sit on the iron throne
opinionated & sarcastic , she has a hard time holding her tongue . she has no problem speaking her wind , even if it’s unwanted . she sometimes tends to even make jokes about things , not taking everything seriously .
she can give off the impression that’s she’s sweet , nice , & innocent , and while she is nice for the most part , she’s a very manipulative and vindictive person. there’s always a scheme being plotted in her head . from a young age she’s learned how to spin things in her favor & will do whatever it takes to get what she wants . she’s been known to be unpleasant if things don’t go her way .
thalia is not a fan of the queen , but she is wise enough to not speak against her . she knows when it’s time to play the part of a good lady . during her time in kings landing , she’s hoping to forge alliances and land herself a husband to help her in her plans of ruling .
