While I understand what you're trying to say, I don't necessarily agree with dismissing Joana's anger as just a symptom. The extremity of it, sure, but it wasn't uncalled for? It was a valid emotion. And this is a problem we face time and time again with BPD, in that people accuse us of overreacting and then invalidate our feelings. Joana had a right to be angry. She didn't express it well but it was definitely valid. We're allowed to feel anger.

I did say that she had the right to be angry! Maybe I brushed over it too much though, that’s my bad! You’re totally right though, anger is a very valid emotion, and Joana had the right to be angry at Cris for ignoring her for so long. I just personally thought that the fear of abandonment/Cris leaving her was the strongest emotion going on these past few episodes-but that’s just my reading! I never meant to imply that Joana’s anger wasn’t valid and understandable-the problem was never that she was mad about how Cris reacted but the way she acted on that anger. I just read the situation as more fearful than angry-because of my own experiences I know that’s how I would have felt! Again, only my opinion though.

But yes both Joana and Cris had very valid reasons to be angry/upset.

Do you have an iPhone?

I sure do, I’ve had iPhones almost since I got a phone in the first place. I have an iPhone 6s, but I have been wondering if next time I get a phone I should get a galaxy or something similar.

I like shades of green, apparently my favourite shade of green is considered sage. I also like yellows, not bright ones but more mellow shades of yellow.
