on point dude. I literally had to explain shinji's whole entire character just to get my friend to watch it. Especially the part about him being bi. Cuz she thought it was about dumb robots and girls in plugsuits.

yea, tbh that basically was the impression i had about the show before i saw some friends praising it, haha........

I'm not a fan of mecha so it was never on my list. But Kaworu and fans of Eva who talk about all the good things about it on top of the Kawoshin-well, it basically got a spot on my list. Haven't gotten to it yet, but definitely trying it.

yeah I think it's bc nge's so popular all over. in general anime communities it being treated as a harem is esp common. (also is this post alright to reblog?)

yeah, ppl sometimes forget that the eva fandom on tumblr isnt representative of the entire fandom, its treated differently in most other places haha....

fave types of movies?

i like animated movies and movies about kids overcoming their environments to succeed, etc. i just cant get into the really gritty, grimdark stuff, idk! like it can be dark but its gotta end on a good note i guess.  it really helps if its interesting visually, too

I didn't really comment before or after, but I find ff.net has a higher comment rate than AO3. Maybe it's because of the traffic volume/makeup of the sites?

hmm, maybe? but idk.... i feel like ao3 would probably get more traffic these days, but that’s just a guess tbh haha

I'd say I comment more on ao3 now than when I was younger, but I've noticed the change. Maybe it's the easy to click kudos button which is like a silent thanks? which people then don't feel obligated to comment after. Just a suggestion, not sure

yeah, i do think the kudos button has something to do with it, but i dont think it fully explains it. i feel like there must be more to it...idk..
