Chicken Fried Steak Bites are a tasty take on the classic Southern dish. They are made with tender beef steak that is covered in a crunchy, seasoned breading. Great as a snack or as an appetizer at a party!
Ingredients: 1 lb beef sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon salt. 1 teaspoon black pepper. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 2 eggs, beaten. 1/4 cup milk. 1 cup breadcrumbs. Vegetable oil, for frying.
Instructions: Put flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a shallow dish and mix them together. Whisk the eggs and milk together in a second shallow dish. Dip each steak bite first in the flour mix, then in the egg mix, and finally in the breadcrumbs. Put oil in a pan and heat it over medium-low heat. In hot oil, cook the steak bites for about two to three minutes on each side, until they are golden brown and fully cooked. Place the cooked steak bites on a plate lined with paper towels to drain off any extra oil. Serve hot with the sauce of your choice.
