Makuta, Thrall to Power. My entry to the Makuta Rebrick Contest.
My main inspiration for this is based on the Shadow traps because they remind me of Keetongu's head when laid flat. The idea for the chest is that the Makuta that Ekimu knew is trapped in there as the base for the entity born out of people's quest for power grew in the Shadow Realm.
Not really a summary as it is more a “just dump everything you’ve done the past year” kind of review, just my BIONICLE-related stuff, however. I’m still working on modeling for a couple of pieces, not BIONICLE-related. As for the next year of doing BIONICLE art? Not sure. Not that I’m not sure of my goals but that I still find myself being pulled across multiple disciplines in that things I want to try. I want to do more 3D prints/models, I want to explore more different styles and techniques when it comes to drawing and painting and I want to get started on a bunch of ideas for handcrafted works (it’s all too much!), but for sure, I want to push for doing more G2 stuff. Here’s to a new year! :)
