5: what work of yours got more feedback than you expected?
to be honest, probably my jumilla shibari fic? i was very surprised by the fact that a non-zero number of people seemed like...inspired or motivated to revisit the pairing because of it, haha. it was very self-indulgent and all written in the span of like an hour or two in the back of the car on my summer roadtrip after i'd just spent the past two days busting out like. 7 or 8 fics so i wasn't really aiming for anything quality with it. but i was very heartened by the positive response!! :D
10: what work was the quickest to write?
oof, bad memory, haha. most of my shorter fics were written in one sitting and i could not tell you how long any of those sittings were or were not tbh. in terms of biggest word count in a short amount of time, that would probably be to provoke prevarication, but i may very well be misremembering :p
15: what WIP are you taking into next year with you?
many of them, but i'll specifically shoutout my bpd goh fic, which i started in may 2024 but picked up again around september this year. it's a very personal one as you might expect and so i very much want to finish it, but like all my other bpd epics, it's going to be rather lengthy and i only really chip away at it when i'm in a particular kind of mood, lol
20: which work of yours have you reread the most?
to be honest, i...didn't spend much time this year rereading any of my works, which is very unlike me because generally speaking the audience i'm writing for is me, myself, and i. it may have been family bonding, though?

found wanting by @natostine - this was my gift for KCF exchange and it was an absolute treat <3 BIG fan of characters redirecting their attraction to someone on to someone else, particularly when the reason for that is guilt or shame about the attraction in the first place. and the fact that for kanan and hera here it's a mutual attraction? chef's kiss. i have very much enjoyed imagining the mess this makes of their dynamic with ezra down the line, hehe
hymn by @rossacrispo - my jumilla buddy!! this fic just perfectly captures that bittersweet mutual attraction we can't act on feeling with jumilla, while simultaneously driving home just how made for each other they really are. such beautiful prose and lovely character work all around. being gifted it was an honour for sure!
sweet, like caramel by maulester - my gift for relationshipping, which was SUCH a good read and had me grinning and gasping and giggling and all the whole time. the read on the characters is just so perfect and the direction of it made my heart ache for hisui so much
two podfics of old hp fics of mine by cailynwrites (linger and understanding), which, again, her hermione voice is perfect and both of them were so well-done!
golden shower by @hungrydolphin91 - very fun kink exploration with richard and asbel, i always love dolphin's beautiful and poetic style of writing and this was a great approach to their relationship <3
a handful of asbel/aston fics by @kresnikcest (risk unaware, interruption, runaway, chance meeting, restful, shared adoration, descendent, make believe, fermata, and da capo al coda) as well as this adorable fem!asbel/fem!malik fic, practice. if i tried to say something for each of these fics i'd be here all night but these are all ideas we talked about with each other and others in the graces server and they are all absolutely lovely <3
crave by @natostine - DARK EZRA OUR BELOVED. every time i think of this fic i think of when bianca said "put down that sith shit boy and drink a soothie," which is to say i love it and i love ezra being our problematic fave
coffin for two by YOU!! @crush3dmary - a beautiful look into x2's bad ending, our beloved. i am a huge fan of your use of gore and violence in this fic juxtaposed with this peculiar intimacy between ludger and julius...it really goes to show just how horrific the bad end actually is
渡鸦国王与发条骑士 by faidlar - i don't know chinese so i had to parse this with a translator but it's a very cute and well-thought-out fairy tale and i thoroughly enjoyed this take on the graces characters!! very cute richass :)
i was hoping to wait to post this until it was revealed but sadly reveals have been delayed so i will just say instead that the 21st gift is for amperslash exchange and i am very much looking forward to getting to read it when reveals do happen!
