This is a delightful canon divergent fic where WWX’s parents live, WWX calls LQR “Uncle”, LQR totally has a soft spot for WWX, and Wangxian are just as infatuated with each other as they are in canon. Oh, and students are crushing hard on WWX just like the previous generation of cultivators did on his mother. 

This is only about the Cloud Recesses Study Arc and seeing that this fic is a part of a series, I’m very much looking forward to reading more!

Nobody really cared about the Yiling Patriarch once they discovered that an angel clad in black would head to their waterfall once night hit.

Wei Wuxian is deemed a troublemaker but also righteous in his own ways but how can one deny his good looks which is accompanied by his friendly personality. Many tend to forget that he is ranked fourth in the most handsome cultivators of his generation. Gods, he’s the son of the servant yet when he smiles, everyone seems to swoon or blush or maybe both.

If only a certain someone named Lan Wangji didn’t try to glare at innocent people just for staring at Wei Wuxian for more than two minutes. Can’t he spare them some mercy when there’s an available handsome bachelor right in front who isn’t a glaring statue, a pompous peacock and a grumpy faced boy with high requirements in a bride.

Yet it doesn't stop everyone from pining after Wei Wuxian.

Therefore the only logical thing to do is to pretend he has a boyfriend, and who better then Wei Wuxian’s beautiful, dignified, intelligent roommate Lan Wangji?

Aka another fake dating au whose prompt has been bouncing around in my head for a couple of months.
