Rehanging 1 axe and handing a new head on a 20” saddle axe handle. I went to buy the 5/4 American hickory lumber today and these hickory handles were standing by the door. I took it as a sign. I will custom fit them, one will get blackened and one will stay natural. Both will get a tung oil coating with @skinboats good stuff - the best tung oil I have ever used.
