Of all places, 

he did not suspect to be led into Japan. Arai straightens on the edge of a building, crossing him arms over his chest; there are many Strigoi within this area, but something is blocking his sense of smell. It is a multitude of scents, annoyingly saccharine. Could it be flowers? Is the Strigoi hoping to conceal himself underneath a garden...or..?  

❛Hm? ❜ His narrowed stare slides downward, leaning over to absorb the contents of a sign attached to a double level building. It seems to be a floral shop, possibly selling herbs as well from what he can observe. Of course, what a clever attempt, but I’m not to be fooled by a mere flower. 

Gravity overtakes his person as he wishes, landing silently on the concrete; such a movement is much too hastened to be witnessed by mortal eyes. He may as well have appeared out of thin air, slipping into the nauseating store. Within his right hand, a sharp wooden stake appears and, effortlessly, he slips into the familiar mindset of a predator.
