#crying about plants

Not me crying over evolutionary anachronism in plants! What do you mean the honey locust tree makes fruit for an animal that went extinct thousands of years ago??? What do you MEAN the bee orchid is enticing pollination by mimicking a bee that doesn't exist?!? And that all of these plants are now becoming extinct themselves because of the anachronism?!?!

It fucks me up!

I am still in the state where I try to save every plant REALLY HARD BBY HOLD ON THERE IS SO MUCH TO LIVE FOR

but if the plant acquisition will continue at this speed (cca one to two plants a month, I swear I'm not buying them other people are buying them and then sucking at being plant parents)

I will probably reach some plant treshold after which I'll just be

not yet, though. Still really sad about the orchid that died three months ago of brown rot. Like, it was so sudden and scary!

(I usually water them every few days)

I just came into the sun room and two of her leaves were already taken over (and you can't save the plant with this kind of rot in fact you need to dispose of it asap because it's infectious)
