ohh boy i was a mess. like from the first time he looks out the window and sees the stars on i was just a leaky faucet. jesus christ. obviously the character stuff got me, when rocky was hurt and when grace was about to go back to earth but the other thing that did it was the majestic huge shots of planets and of the astrophage yk like when it's all red? this is also what happened to me when i watched star trek: the motion picture and i saw the big long luxurious shots of the enterprise. it makes me cry when space is big and scary and beautiful.
