So, I saw a Harry Potter gifset and got kinda sad because the books were my way of escaping. Then I looked around my room which is covered in HP and LOTR autographs, merchandise and fanart and just burst into fucking tears. I never cry so this is so weird for me- I guess I just miss the anticipation of looking forward to the next book/movie. I don't know, I was abused emotionally and physically everyday since the age of 4 so I guess I never had the chance to experience a childhood but whenever I read HP or LOTR I forgot all of that stuff.

I just want my childhood back.
