oh my god it just dawned on me that words вишня and черешня both mean cherry... like i was convinced черешня had to be something else. bc 'cherry flavor' and such is obviously just about вишня. then how come people always say they eat cherries when cherries are like .. more bitter or whatnot. and here we always eat черешня not вишня. then i had sudden realization that the fucking word черешня even sounds more like cherry-

anyways i had to google it and learn that apparently вишня is like black cherry or smth, basically the entire time i assumed people were talking about it, but they were talking about normal cherries aka черешня 💀
