This whole thing is so funny (funny in a “the fuck?” sense) because certain fic writers will claim to be going for realism in their fics and will just go for the most racist shit from the show. Once saw a Destiel fic where Dean and Cas were cops and it was fucking centered around BLM (in an attempt to make Dean and Cas look like “good cops”) it’s so infuriating
