Kayla: I don't have any friends
Eric: Go buy some
How do you make the RT Animated Adventures gifs? I saw your tutorial but i didnt see anything on how to make gifs from online videos. love your blog btw :)
I had to publish your answer publicly so that this can also help Tumblettes who want to make GIFs. Hope you don't mind, Eric.

Sorry for the late reply. I was in the middle of work when I got your question.
I use YouTube Downloader to get the videos from my GIFs. It's a really good software. If you intend to download and install it make sure you have the installer scanned with your anti virus right after downloading and before you run it to make sure there isn't any viruses.
Also, this is very important and is commonly one of the complaints from other users (according to some it changes the homepage of your browser and other stuff). Right after you accept YTD's Terms of Service you're given an option to install a toolbar for IE and/or Firefox (I'm not sure on other browsers). You don't need the toolbar at all so just click deny and it'll resume to installing YouTube Downloader. Mostly the installation process takes a few seconds.
When you download a video, just copy and paste the link and choose the download quality.
If the video you're downloading is a maximum of either 240p, 360p or 480p, choose the HQ 360p (MP4) download quality. If you choose the other download qualities other then the 360p MP4 quality, the video will download as a .flv format and converting it to MP4 is another process and requires a separate software.
If the video has a maximum of either 720p or 1080p choose the Best Available quality. The video you'll download on either resolutions and on the quality I stated on the previous sentence, the videos will be of automatically of MP4 format.
To view the videos, you need QuickTime, especially if you open the video in Photoshop for GIF making.
Hope this helps answer your question. Also, thanks so much for the compliment. :)
