Cryptid file 346

Location spotted: East River NYC.

Height: 7 ft.

Weight: 124 Ibs.

Color: Changes depending on what color the soles of its feet touch, when his feet are not in contact with a color he is a deep green.

Recognizable features: Humanoid, gills, scales, no eyes, and an arm span two times the size of a human at that height

Diet: Vegetarian (seems to be disgusted by raw meats)

Weaknesses: Out of water it seems to be blind. This creature also appears to be very empathetic and will put itself in danger to help a lesser creature in danger.

Strengths: This creature has extraordinarily tough skin it also appears to have incredible strength. While outside of water who’s creature is blind inside water it is highly aware of its surroundings. Like was said in the color portion of this file this creature is able to blend in with its surroundings mostly only working when looking down at it from above as it is usually the color of the floor it stands on. This however is a very simple camouflage unable to copy patterns and only able to copy two colors at a time.

Current status: captured and being tested.

Why did I make this blog...

Tumblr is filled with a lot of younger people most of which are open minded so If I can get my stories out to them I might be able to change the world. Also some people are looking for me and my information to take it down I feel tumblr will be the last place they look. That being said it should be obvious my name isn’t peck although I am a detective or I guess I was one before everything went down. This blog will be for my own personal journaling as I continue across America looking for proof of cryptids all while staying out of sight from those following me.

Whole in the wall...

Currently I’m on my way to find one of the most popular cryptids out there one that I have little to no info on... Bigfoot, Can’t really day where I’m looking for my own safety but I wish I could because this place has a damn good coffee and being open 24/7 means I will probably be doing a lot of my research here. After asking around the locals are mostly sceptical but I found a few students on summer break who know where I can find him. I’m staying at a near by motel and will probably be staying in this small town for awhile. I’m not sure how long I will be able to stay out of the view of the people looking for me but I know that I need to find photographic proof of the unknown. You all deserve to know!
