Some drawings of my old cryptid OCs.
The headless coyotes are the Leery Mimric, made when a coyote is struck by lightning. They convince humans to wear their masks so they can possess them and pilot their body and cause mischief.
And the other are Clown Apes who are mountain dwelling cryptids with kaleidoscopically patterned faces that can induce hallucinogenic trance states as a predator deterrent (but usually its just hikers).

i've been trying to be a cryptid sighter for years but ive only found the same one every time. shes really nice and she lets me stay over sometimes but won't tell me where any of the other cryptids are.
For the longest time, the Two-Faced Cat used to be nothing more than an ominous being. They were usually seen wandering around empty places, singing to themselves in their reversed voice. As the entity tried to attack or kidnap anyone they ran across, the Jellicles have gotten used to avoiding the Cat at all costs. If anyone saw or heard them anywhere near the Junkyard, they'd run to the other Jellicles to tell them to hide. They just had to wait until they appeared, sang a few things, and then left.
It only changed once Old Deuteronomy became aware of the fact that the being has been terrorizing the Jellicle cats in the first place, as he has never seen the Two-Faced Cat himself before. Once he saw their faces during a close encounter, it all became clear, and for the first time in forever, the Two-Faced Cat heard their true names be spoken.
Epiphany and Cora.
As it turns out, The Two-Faced Cat is two separate cats that were reborn into a single body. Both Cora and Epiphany were Deuteronomy's wives when he was younger, and the three cats loved each other very much. Deuteronomy may have gotten used to seeing his family grow old, but he wasn't certain if he could let his mates go as easily. Once the Jellicle Ball came, he chose both of the queens to ascend to the Heaviside Layer... a decision he clearly grew to regret.
Ever since Old Deuteronomy recognized them and took them in, they've become somewhat more neutral towards the Jellicles, as at least they're comforted by the fact that at least one cat recognizes them and doesn't fear their current form. It's still not unusual for the Two-Faced Cat to lash out if provoked, but it doesn't happen as often now. They just prefer to stay away from the Jellicles.
