The quagga was a zebra subspecies that lived in South Africa before going extinct in the wild in 1878. There have been sporadic reports of its survival, including strange ones several miles away in Tanzania. A pair of South Africans claimed to see a group of quaggas in 1956

In 2020 Dr. Tonlong Wangpan found a glowing yellowish-lime spider in the Northeast region of India. While he wasn't able to capture the animal, he was able to snap this photograph of it. Other luminous spiders were reported from India and nearby Myanmar.

Florida footage of a trident tailed sea monster taken by an area local. Made famous on Monsterquest, it's been theorized that the animal is simply a marine mammal with propeller damage to its tail.

This photograph was found on a Polish website with the label "Unknown species of fish, seen on the shores of Florida (USA)". Does anyone know more about this one?

The "bigfoot trap" of Oregon, a small structure set up by the North American Wildlife Research Firm in the 1970s. It was supposed to lure a bigfoot inside before trapping the living squatch. Baited with deer carcasses and other animals, the trap has thus far failed to catch him.

One interesting cryptid uncovered by Tyler Greenfield is the under-billed swordfish. Called the eieheraha by some locals, it's "sword" was on the lower jaw instead of the upper jaw like most swordfish.

In 1925, a museum employee named Barnum Brown happened upon a strange ball of light in Burma (modern Myanmar). As he approached it, he took a match out to light the area. When the match flickered and died, the ball of light, which he saw came from a spider, glowed once again.
