I love this au but i have a question... When they defeated Bill, and his essence melted into Dipper's and Dipper became a demon. When that happened at first, was Mabel already been able to see him at first or not? If not did she think he died?

It’s fairly open, but most fics and headcanons thus far tend to assume that for at least a little time post-incident Mabel didn’t know where her brother was at all. Sometimes it’s because she was knocked unconscious just before or after that moment and was found and carried back to the Shack while the search for Dipper - or any remains - continued, with the search party naturally unable to see him. Sometimes Dipper goes unseen by her for a while because he was pulled fully into the mindscape, to the level where even Sighted humans can’t see, and woke up there among the start of the Flock some time later.

So technically, Mabel likely could have seen him from the start (Drift AU aside) but outside events typically interfere for a time. Mabel likely fears the possibility of Dipper’s death, but probably doesn’t have time to move past the denial stage of grief (again, Drift AU aside) before he reappears - but only to her.

if i love it i can guarantee i didnt feel guilty for reading it xD maybe embarrassed to tell others that i read it and actually enjoyed it, but theres not an inch of me that would regret reading it haha
