Welcome to the Transcendence AU! This is a Gravity Falls AU that diverges from canon sometime in Season 2. The main premise is twofold: 1) what if Bill died in Dipper’s Mindscape and it permanently transformed Dipper into a demon himself? And 2) what if this caused the “weirdness bubble” around Gravity Falls to pop, making magic and weirdness commonplace around the world? It is a story filled with a lot of hardship and sadness, but also a lot of love, friendship, and found family.

Sure there were other fandoms but none as... homey as TAU will be yknow? I never knew I'd come anywhere near this far and tau had a bit (or a good chunk) of a part of why I kept going. Its also how i managed to find my current friemd group! I blasted them with so much TAU lore the day we met hahahahha, and then there were all te friends I met in the TAU server as well! Thank you for being cool and so supportive, I hope we can continue to support eachother as we go on!!

Transdimensional arc: Alcor and Mabel have a bet that if Alcor loses, he'll have to do the same dance that Stan did. When Alcor graciously loses, he tries to get away from doing the dance, but Dipper, Stan, Soos and Wendy prevent him from leaving and gets him to do the dance.

Stan becomes a legend to the Dinner Crew after Hank corrects one of them on their believe that he leaned it all from Alcor. The small number who know who Alcor really is are even more impressed when they learn Stan thought Dipper too.

Dipper is summoned by a young kid who wants *insert crazy wish here*. Dipper tries to get the kid to agree to something less crazy, but the kid then reveals his older brother, a lawyer specializing in demon contracts. Dipper is forced into a three hour meeting before finally giving in and accepting the deal.

Dipper’s most recent headache is a reboot of Heated Rivalry featuring the Woodsman and himself. However, he is secretly thrilled to be written as a jock for once.

So what happened to the Alcor Virus when Alcor reset the universe? Did Alvie die when technology stopped being produced?

Given that Al-V doesn’t really “live” in the same sense as most creatures, the canon about his death is pretty squishy. Mod T wrote a fic about one of the ways it might’ve happened! (spoiler alert it’s sad). Regardless, the end of the universe comes long after all life has died and all machines have shut down. By the time Alcor resets the universe, Al-V wouldn’t exist anymore.

IF YOU HAVEN’T READ “THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH” STOP NOW!!! SPOILERS AHEAD!! IM SERIOUS, THE ENDING ISNT NEARLY AS GREAT IF ITS SPOILED!!!

I’ve been thinking a lot more about Al-V lately, and I want to make a playlist for him bc I think it would be fun. The problem: WHAT DO I PUT IN IT?!?

I’m thinking the kind of stuff you hear in animations, techy, fast paced, and a little bit embarrassing to admit you listen to it(THIS IS A NO JUDGEMENT ZONE)

The problem arises when it comes to lyrics. His depictions vary based on what fic he’s in. In most of them, he’s a playful but harmless computer boi who loves his dad, but in The Valley of the Shadow of Death, he KILLS THREE PROPLE AND FRAMES ALCOR SO HE’LL LOSE HIS JOB AND GO CRAZY AGAIN, SO HE’L SPEND MORE TIME WITH ALVIE. So should I have songs abt robots taking over the planet? Even if they don’t fit his mood AT ALL? I think I could get away with it if I add them later on in the playlist. I know at some point in the TAU in space arc he possessed a drone, so should I put space themed music in it? Alvie’s aroace but in the rosewood affair he dates a guy named Dennis so should I include relationship songs?
