She squeaked, vision suddenly obscured by a curtain of wet hair. She flipped her hair back and turned, covering herself. “Bill, what the hell?!” She scowled at the demon in question. “No, Dipper doesn’t know I listen to Metallica, since he doesn’t like them.”

@cryptographic-catalyst Stupid aliens. Dib picked himself up from the mud, knees stinging from where they'd been skinned as he'd fallen. Nobody believed him- and they were in plain sight. Nobody even looked any closer. And when they did, there was always an explanation to be found. Stupid classmates. Stupid city. Stupid humans. Stupid planet. He spent so much of his time trying to protect it- and yet, all he ever got in return was 'you're crazy.' Stupid standards of behavior. Notice anything at all, and you're either a genius or crazy. He was so tired of it all. He'd just spent most of the day trying to chase down some sort of a drone he assumed Zim had sent out. He wasn't sure what it did, or why, but if he could stop it… But he hadn't. He failed like this almost daily, and never seemed to be too bothered over it all, but the straw that broke the metaphorical camel's back had to come sooner or later. And that was today. Eyes stinging, he rubbed at them with the interior of one muddy sleeve. Did Zim really have to choose an empty lot on a rainy day? Of course he did. Nothing could be going worse.
