Amethyst

Amethyst is one of my absolute favorites! Next to Selenite, Amethyst is my go to.

Fun fact: In ancient Greece people would wear amethyst in belief it would prevent drunkenness and while it does not stop you from becoming drunk after taking copious amounts of shots like they believed, it is believed to be an aid in overcoming overindulgence behavior.

Amethyst is a powerful stone; Protecting the wearer from all types of harm, activating spiritual awareness, opening your intuition, and enhancing your psychic abilities are just a few of it’s magickal uses. I could go on and on, long story short it is definitely one of my go to's!

Amazonite

Amazonite also called ‘the stone of courage and truth’ was first named Amazon Stone which is named after the Amazon River. It then evolved into the more appropriate name Amazonite.

Seen as a powerful prosperity and healing stone, it has been used as decor and in jewelry since the early Mesopotamia cultures.

It was also carved and used in the Egyptian book of the dead.

Amazonite was believed to have adorned the shields of the semi-mythical Amazonian female warriors thought to have lived in the 10th century BC

It is said to awaken your compassion for others and enhancing communication on all levels.

It is a helpful tool with finding one's inner truth. It is said sleeping with a piece of Amazonite near can bring to light one's inner conflicts in the form of dreams and helps us work through those rough spots.

This stone reduces self neglect, boosts self esteem and helps in the battle with anxiety.

Overall it is another good tool to have in your personal emotional crystal arsenal.

Blue Kyanite

Blue kyanite in its most common form is kind of flaky but kyanite can also form a gemstone that in ancient times was often mistaken for sapphire. This is where the name ‘the poor man's sapphire’ came from.

It is a crystal of connection and communication. Like a psychic bridge it is great for enhancing telepathic abilities. This crystal also helps to strengthen your inner or outer voice depending on intention; making it a useful tool for speakers or vocal performers. Also used to cut through one's fears abiling them to speak their inner truth. It is known to drive away anger, frustration, stress and confusion.

Kyanite is one of the crystals you want to keep away from water as much as possible, as it can be damaging to the stone.

I suggest moonlight or sound to cleanse, But honestly however you feel comfortable is the best way!

Selenite

Selenite is my absolute favorite!

The name selenite comes from the Greek moon goddess, Selene, which means ‘moon like glow’.

By clearing energy blockages, selenite allows energy fluidity. It can align the chakras and raise awareness to a higher plane. With its hardness at 2 Selenite is a very soft stone so be sure to handle with care! But, what it lacks in durability it makes up for in metaphysical abilities. Not only can selenite cleanse itself it can also be used to cleanse your other crystals and using it with other crystals amplifies their power!

Selenite is liquid light, so it can dissolve negativity or challenges you are facing in your life at any time.

I could go on and on about all the amazing gifts Selenite has to offer, but long story short, it is my number 1 go to for suggestions to have in your crystal arsonal.

For ages we have used crystals not only for decorative purposes, but, perhaps more covetedly for healing and protection. We have always been drawn to the stones for their energy, beauty, vibration, or honestly it just feels as though they are calling to you.

Everything in life has a frequency: it may be fast, slow, deep, shallow, booming, or timid, and crystals allow these energies to pass through using these frequencies. When a crystal connects with a person they resonate a frequency and what that does is amplify your own intentions. Crystals are very effective at soaking up vibrations positive and negative from the space and people around them.

When picking out crystals there are a number of things to consider: your connection to the crystal, your intention for working with the crystal as well as the properties of the crystal. But the best tip is not to overthink it, when picking out a stone let it call to you, if you're walking around a shop and feel a pulse from a certain stone it probably means that crystal has healing properties you need at the moment and is calling to you.

No matter what ails you, there is a stone that can help ease your way in life.
