crystal shapes and how they work:
raw: depending on the crystal and the natural way they form, the effects of raw crystals are varied. typically crystals are more powerful in their raw forms, but also somewhat more erratic. for example, most quartzs form in points. this can make their energy very longitudinal and even. more reliable than most, but often singularly focused. selenite forms in parallel lines, which makes them talented at providing order. malachite's swooping pattern gives it a sort of convectional quality. it likes to work in loops and spirals, but its rough exterior can make it more unpredictable.
cluster: works with natural energy flow that stems from the earth. good for generation and manifestation. can often bring clarity.
geode: hard to work with, but good for long term projects. they act like patient little incubators. they accept intentional energies and are protected from outside interference.
druzy: they like to diffuse and disperse energy
tumbled: super versatile. their smooth shape allows them to absorb and fraction different types of energies easily. more gentle to work with.
spheres: unbridled and transformative. used for divination because a sphere can take in the most energy, and evenly with clarity like a lens. they work in circles and spirals and can help you see around blind corners and curves.
worry stones: their bowl shape accepts and redirects energies outward and away often bringing a cleansing and removing effect.
squares: grounding and balancing. squares are even and sustainable.
pyramids: incredibly focused and directional. they are single-minded, but determined.
hearts: works great with internal growth and change. the lobes accept gentle energy and directs it towards the user.
the uhh 3D pointy star thing: sort of a crossover between pyramids and spheres. able to take in chaotic energies from many sources, orders and redirect them with focus. very intentional and great for overall mindfulness and clarity.
