Crystal Rain

a group of four girls who have banded together to surpass the living legend known as RAD WEEKEND! can they overcome their differences, along with others’ misconceptions about them, to break out of the mold and pull off the greatest event in street music history?

kohane- she/her

initially, kohane was unsure of her future, without any aspirations outside of her schoolwork. however, that all changed after she saw one of an and mizuki’s performances, which ignited her dream to one day stand on stage alongside them. she joined forces with them shortly after that show, and later learned of the origins of their group, as well as an’s aim to surpass rad weekend.

saki- she/her

saki was convinced to join crystal rain by kohane during class one day. firstly finding it as a fun hobby, she later found a way to use performing as a way to claim her lost childhood back and as a way of breaking the stereotypes that others have placed on her due to her health conditions.

an- she/they

after seeing rad weekend in middle school, an was inspired to outdo them one day as a way of giving back to the area that shaped who she is today and a way of honoring her late aunt nagi. an also partnered up with mizuki in their last year of middle school, and joined forces with saki and kohane at the beginning of high school.

mizuki- she/they

mizuki partnered up with an after seeing one of her performances. they joined initially due to excitement and passion, and later discovered that performing was her ideal way to escape the bullying that she experiences at school due to being outed by one of her former friends before the first year entrance ceremony at kamiyama.

Park Sekai

a sekai that seemed to form out of nowhere, and is only loosely related to the four members’ aspirations. it features a path in a forest filled with trees, places to sit, open areas to practice in, and cute animals. meiko, rin, and luka aim to make this place both a resting area and an unconventional performance venue for everyone who visits it.

kohane thinks that the sekai is a great place to perform and think of new songs… in theory that is. in practice, she finds herself getting distracted by all the different types of flowers and all the cute animals. she doesn’t mind that much, though.

an uses the sekai to practice for performances, especially since it is a more open and less crowded space than either weekend garage or the smaller stages in vivid street. she wants to set up some decorations to light up the area, but hasn’t had the time or electrical equipment to do it yet.

saki loves the openness and natural beauty of the sekai, and often uses the space to practice with the others or simply hang out and do things such as writing new lyrics or working on schoolwork. she also looks up to meiko, often seeking her out for advice on various things.

mizuki likes to use the area to simply relax and hang out outside of practice. she also sometimes skips class to idle in the sekai instead, but rin and luka tend to get mad at her whenever that happens.
