Hello~
We are Crystal System and why tried to be cute XDD This is our cover of Mr.Chu from Apink <3
On Monday I'm supposed to be able to recognize and name 90 different minerals and remember their chemical compositions and crystal systems. I think I can manage to recognize most of them. And I can remember, guess or deduce from at least some of them which crystal system they belong to, but the chemical compositions? Seriously? The chemical composition of tourmaline is (Ca,Na)(Al,Fe,Li,Mg,Mn)3(Al,Fe,Mn)6(BO3)3(Si6O18)(OH)4 That is the longest one I have to remember to this exam. And the teacher has a very hands on attitude towards teaching. He is very nice, if a little peculiar fellow. And I know that he will try to speak with anyone who gets 2 or less from this exam. (Grading is from 0 to 5.) I really hope that I won't fail this completely, because it would be rather humiliating to explain to him why I didn't do better. Plus, he made a joke about humanities majors earlier and he thinks archaeology has nothing to do with science. (Really, he is nice. But people in natural sciences just tend to joke a lot about humanistic branch, and it annoys the hell out of me sometimes, since I have the utmost admiration for both fields.) So I kinda feel the need to shine in this exam, just to prove to him that someone who majors in cultural history has done better than the actual geology students. Might not happen, since fuck how difficult it is to remember these chemical formulas, but I have to try at least. This is not difficult to learn. This is just a competition on who can remember the most.
