“Gyaah, Shiori-chii, I gotta tell you about this dream I had! You know what they say about nightmares, huh? They’re way more common when you’re hungry! It’s a bad omen, right? Because I had a late dinner, and slept right after I ate!”
“O-Oh no, are you alright, Hagakure-kun? I know exactly how bad nightmares can be...”
“I think I’ve heard about that before, but I’m not quite sure if it’s true or not...um, regardless, what happened in your dream...?”
crystalprediction liked for a starter.
“I-I’m so sorry, Hagakure-san... b-but I can’t take an accurate measurement of your height with all your hair in the way. B-Besides, I don’t even think I’m tall enough to see the ruler. P-Please don’t yell at me...”
crystalprediction joined the spirits (i hope this is ok? since we’re already interacting on my other blog, and it should be really interesting for these two to meet!)
Honestly, Tomoko hadn’t expected to meet anyone else with the sight, especially not here at Hope’s Peak. But maybe she had things backward? If there was anything she was learning here at school, it was that anything could happen at Hope’s Peak Academy...
Her mother had complained often about the famously strange psychic Yasuhiro Hagakure with his goofy grin and even goofier hair. He had been outselling her for years now, and Ai just couldn’t get over it. Tomoko, on the other hand, was intrigued. This guy was so open about his bad odds of success, but everyone loved him for it! What was he like in person? Maybe that’s what had made her stop him in the hall that day...
“Excuse me, are you Yasuhiro Hagakure?”

“Ah...Hagakure-kun, correct? Is it true that you’re able to tell people’s fortunes...?”

Togami couldn’t believe that Leon Kuwata of all people had been able to ruin his perfect school record. One whiny, simpering look to the female algebra teacher, and Togami had been assigned a detention for “upsetting fellow students and disrupting class”. All he had done was tell Kuwata to stay quiet if he didn’t actually know the answers, and now he had this on his permanent record.
The only good thing about being stuck in their classroom after school that day was that he might finally get some peace and quiet. The room was empty aside from him and the teacher, and he had brought plenty of good reading to keep him busy: the original Essays by Michel de Montaigne. The afternoon was off to a brilliant start, until a very distinct shadow blocked the light coming in from the hall. It couldn’t be... but it was...
“Yasuhiro Hagakure. I should have known you’d be here too, after that stunt in the cafeteria.”
