charoite: who my muse looks up to
this is actually sort of a hard notion to think about. my knee-jerk reaction is to say elizabeth, and i’m positive that at one point this was true, but after a while, liz realizes the goings on of this hotel & sort of blends into the background buzz. there’s not much interaction between her and the outside world either, which means the only people she has left to ‘look up to’ are murderers. in short, i don’t think liz looks up to anybody, really.
lapis lazuli: where 'home' is to my muse
home isn’t a concept liz is all too familiar with. home is supposed to be somewhere where you feel loved and accepted & for a majority of liz’s life, she hasn’t been at home anywhere ─ until the hotel cortez. elizabeth, quite literally, took liz into her arms & promised her this new, beautiful definition of home.
