Hi, I really love this blog. Do you know any Swan Queen fanfics that are pro-Killian (or at least aren't anti-Killian)? I'm having troubling finding some.

Thanks Nonnie! I haven’t read that many SQ fics, and the ones I’ve read have completely ignored Killian. Perhaps someone else can suggest some good fics for Nonnie?

Hi all!

I just wanted to make a brief plug for a community that is just starting out on a new platform called Imzy. It’s a social media platform for fandom that is like a combo of Tumblr and Reddit. It functions with moderated boards.

There’s a CS & ER community there, and I would like to encourage you to join by following the link below. Once you request an invite the mods have to approve you, and we are accepting everyone.

So far it looks like it has a lot of potential. I think it can serve as a bit of a CS/ER support group of sorts, and can provide a safe space to talk about CS and Regina, the show, and the fandom in a way that’s hard to do on Tumblr

It's so great seeing excitement about Regina from people who aren't primarily Evil Regals!

But see? That’s what being a CS/ER is like for me every day! I have my SQ ERs, my OQ ERs, my DQ ERs, some Rumbelle ERs, and my CS ERs. All of the ERs I follow, regardless of ship, are excited about Regina. The anons I’ve gotten the last couple days saying CS/ERs were complaining about the finale? I didn’t see that. That we were complaining about too much Regina? I didn’t see that. In fact, I saw many posts claiming there wasn’t enough! I see/participate in conversations every day in the heart of CS fandom about Regina- that are positive! It’s just so strange to me that someone who actually knows more than one or two of us would be able to lump us all together as “nicer packaged AR’s.” Like???

I do sometimes wonder if these anons are seeing bloggers that run closely with CS/ERs, but are not CS/ERs themselves? That might explain some of the accusations that CS/ERs don’t like Regina? I don’t know.

I will gush any time about Regina to anyone who wants to listen. But I will also acknowledge her areas for growth. She’s not perfect- just like my other faves aren’t perfect. I like to talk about her as the complex character she is. I’ve even had conversations about the kind of ice cream she would bring home! That is how much I love her!!! I’m headcanon-ing ice cream!

I hope you know these are just trolls! I don't see any reason why you shouldn't love Regina and CS. And if you help other CS shippers discover what an amazing character Regina is, that's great :D Why would any Evil Regal want to discourage people from talking about Regina and discussing her character and try to stop people from being her fans just because they also like CS? That's nonsense.

I agree with everything you say, nonnie. They are just trolls. I always remember that they do not reflect the beauty that the ER fandom has to offer- because I’ve met some incredible people. As I always say: “every fandom has assholes.” And yes, It is completely self-defeating to try to encourage people in wider fandom to dislike the thing that you like.

I don’t know how many CS shippers I’ve helped see Regina in a different light, but I know I’ve made some good friendships in both fandoms. Even if they don’t see what I see, they can appreciate that I have a different POV. I am hoping that the longer I’m here, speaking positively for both, the more people can see the beauty I see in both Regina and CS.

My greatest wish is for people to ask how I feel about something and not just assume. Because anyone who knows me, knows I love Captain Swan and Regina. There’s no ‘or’ in there for me.... ever. But, you can’t ask questions about people’s thoughts when you’re busy trolling. Which is why the block button is so nice. ;)

No, we don’t track any tags. I personally don’t tend to go into the tags at all. Our mods and members reblog content from their dashes directly into the network’s queue!
