Delhi University to Launch Phase II of UG Admissions 2025–26 Amid Tight Schedule: Students Urged to Prepare Preferences
The University of Delhi is gearing up to begin Phase II of the Undergraduate Admission Process (CSAS UG 2025) in the upcoming week, according to an official advisory issued on July 3. The second phase is part of the university’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) and is crucial for students aiming to secure admission to undergraduate programmes for the 2025–26 academic session, which is scheduled to commence on August 1, 2025.
Due to the limited timeframe, the university has cautioned that CSAS Phase II may last only a week, and has urged aspirants to prepare in advance. All students are advised to finalize their preferred colleges and programme choices ahead of the preference-filling window to ensure a smooth and error-free process.
Prospective applicants who have not yet completed Phase I registration are strongly encouraged to do so immediately to become eligible for Phase II. All undergraduate admissions at DU this year will be based solely on CUET-UG 2025 scores, as per the official policy.
The university has advised candidates to regularly visit the official admission portal (admission.uod.ac.in) for updates, important notices, and instructions regarding the next steps of the admission process.
Meanwhile, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results for CUET (UG) 2025, conducted between May 13 and June 4. Of the 13.54 lakh registered candidates, 10.71 lakh appeared for the exam.
CUET UG 2025 Result Highlights:
1 candidate scored 100 percentile in four out of five subjects.
17 candidates scored 100 percentile in three subjects.
150 candidates achieved 100 percentile in two subjects.
2,679 candidates scored 100 percentile in one subject.
With Phase II of DU's admissions process approaching rapidly, students are advised to stay alert, act promptly, and make informed choices to secure their spot in one of India’s premier universities.
