BASICS:

Full Name: Beauford Parrish Name origin: Pronounced BowFAORD. Beauford is of French origin. The name means 'from the beautiful ford'. Nickname, if any: Beau. He prefers it over his full name. Does s/he like the nickname? Yes, most people call him that over his full. It isn’t personal. Birth date: August 1st, 1988 Place of birth: Was a home birth at his biological mothers house to keep his birth off the records. Ethnic background: Caucasian Religion: Non-Practicing Christian Current address: Historic Downtown, Charleston, South Carolina, USA

Does s/he rent or own? Rents. Brief description of home (apartment, house, etc.): Rather large apartment, one bedroom with walk in closet, kitchen, and small living room. Kitchen and living room conjoined. Hallway leads to bedroom and bathroom. Does s/he live with anyone? Alone. Describe the area in which s/he lives (city, town, rural, other): Charleston is a city but is part is more ‘towney’ and ‘homey’ than most parts. Is this his/her ideal home and location? If not, what would s/he prefer? It is just temporary until he eventually raises enough money to buy a home and maybe even raise a family, something he definitely wants in the future. Does s/he drive? Yes. Own a car? (Make, model, color, age, etc.): Chevy Silverado 1985. Was his father’s, but his father gave it up to him when Beau was sixteen. Pets? (If so, what kind/how many/names?) Many farm animals: horses, goats, chickens, lambs, donkeys, etc. The only ones he considers are rightfully ‘his’ as pets are a palomino named Bamboo and a brown and white Appaloosa named Chutney. If so, how important are they? How well are they treated? Bamboo and Chutney are his pride and joy. He takes very well care of them, even when money is tight he’d starve himself over them any day. They are spoiled at any chance and he always keeps them protected. Current occupation (include length of time, location, job title): He is a rancher on his family farm. He keeps the crops well kept, provides horseback lessons and sometimes allows petting zoos for younger children. Considering his father’s condition he is the main caretaker of the farm and hard work on it. Job satisfaction (happy, discontent, ambivalent, ambitious…): He absolutely loves his job. The animals and the pride of keeping it well kept are his favorite part. Whenever the crops fail or an animal becomes sick it’s very hard on him. Income: Wavers with the success of the farm. Though it is to note he doesn’t make much. Sexuality (e.g. straight, gay, bisexual, asexual, uncertain…): Heterosexual. Marital status: Single at the moment. List any significant previous romantic partners: Emilia Sullivan, Isabel Casillas.

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:

Height: 5′ 11″ Weight: 170 lbs Body type (thin, athletic, overweight, curvy, muscular, etc.) Muscular Eye color: Blue Need glasses/contacts/hearing aid? Perfect vision and hearing Skin tone: He tans easily and doesn’t pale too much in the winter. Face shape: Thin face, squared jawline. Any prominent features: Freckles dotted all over his nose/under eyes. Whom does s/he most look like (e.g. famous person or relative)? Him and his father have very similar features, although his father has roughened up with age. Some say he looks like celebrity, Scott Eastwood -- he doesn’t see it. General health (good, excellent, poor…)? Excellent. It seems he got the good genes in the family as his sister is the one who had always been constantly ill. Any current health problems or chronic conditions? None to be accounted for. How does s/he dress? He doesn’t wear plaid like the typical cliche of a rancher. Though he definitely wears his jeans and cowboy boots, adorned with spurs on the ranch. He definitely gets teased when friends and people come to visit about it but he loves to dress the part. T-Shirts and jeans are when he’s casual, though he can definitely dress up if necessary. Price: Expensive Average Inexpensive Cheap: Average, bordering inexpensive. Sometimes he’ll splurge to get something special for perhaps a date or an event. Style: Casual as he works constantly on the ranch. Even when he’s relaxing at home or out he can be seen in jeans and a t-shirt. If he wants to impress he’ll trade the t-shirt for a button up. Why does she dress in the above manner (e.g. to be noticed)? To be comfortable. He doesn’t care much for impressions unless it’s a pretty woman. Otherwise his personality should be enough to attract friendships or more. Any special jewelry? (If so, why is it special?) Family ring, though he has since stopped wearing it for personal reasons. What about accessories? N/A. Grooming: Typically neat, though sometimes borderlines scruffy if he doesn’t have time. His hair is always trimmed, neither long nor too short. Describe hairstyle: “Short, straight, casual.” On longer side, but not long enough to get in the way. Natural hair texture (smooth, wavy, curly, etc.): Smooth. Natural hair color: Blonde brown.

SPEECH AND LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION:

Pace of speech (fast, average, slow?): Average, even when nervous he can keep a calm and average pace. Voice tone: Deep tone, with a slight southern twang. Accent: Southern. Any favorite/habitual words/phrases? Curse words? “Damn” typically. Describe general vocabulary or speech pattern: Average, lax. He is very intelligent, but his vocabulary is lacking in such hints of intelligence.

EVERYDAY BEHAVIOR / HABITS:

Finances: He is cautious about what he spends his finances on. If he is not careful, he could begin to live a paycheck to paycheck lifestyle. Especially since his finances vary depending on ranch success. Personal Habits: Smoking, Drinking, Drugs, Gambling, etc.? He does not smoke. He drinks occasionally, if not borderline excessive. No drugs. Can be seen gambling on occasion. Are any of these addictions? Not that he could see. Morning Routine: Normally he wakes up, brushes his teeth and then heads over to the ranch for morning feedings of the animals and some chores. He likes to do the heavy stuff early on in the day so he can go home and shower. Once the animals are fed, watered and most heavy duty chores are complete he heads home to eat and shower. He might sometimes stop for a coffee but normally he feels too dirty to stop, After his meal and shower, he’ll relax and watch some TV, before brushing his teeth again and then heading back to the ranch when his riding lessons for others are typically scheduled. Who else is sleeping in the same bed? Just him. What time does he/she wake up? Six, maybe earlier if there is a lot to do that morning. Is he/she cheerful in the morning? Usually very groggy but he can always pull a smile on his face. What does he/she do during breakfast: He’ll glance over the paper if there is anything of importance he’ll make sure to read it, otherwise it goes in the trash. Sometimes if he stopped by to get a coffee he’ll be drinking that with it. He listens to music from his phone at most times he eats breakfast. Afternoon/Workday: After his morning heavy work his done and he’s eaten and relaxed. He’ll suit up for riding lessons. If there are none scheduled he still likes to take a ride, opting to take Bamboo out for a ride, over Chutney as, Chutney is a bit more wild than Bamboo. Since there are so many acres on the land he likes to take his time to cover them all, typically making the ride back faster and more exciting. Sometimes if he doesn’t want to take the relaxing ride, he’ll be seen trying to make Chutney more broke to the saddle and more disciplined while being rode. Usually after that it’s late afternoon and he’ll finish the rest of the work that has to be done on the ranch. At this time, what’s left is usually to water and tend the crops a second time and refill all the animals water buckets. Does s/he work outside the home? Technically, yes, though it is his family’s ranch. How does he/she get there? Drives. Is s/he good at this job? Excellent at it. Was born to do it. What if anything would he/she rather be doing? Nothing, he is extremely proud of what he does and loves every second of it even through tough times. How long and hard is the work day? It starts usually before sunrise and ends around sunset. Thankfully during the afternoon he can work at his leisure, especially when there are no riding lessons to give. On tougher days he may be there into the evening. Dinner: Does s/he eat at home or go out a lot? Secretly, he has a knack for cooking, though he doesn’t like to flaunt it. If it was an extremely exhausting work day he’ll pick something up or go to the bar for some pub food and beers. Otherwise he’ll go home to cook, shower and sleep. Who cooks at home? He does if he is not tired. He lives alone. Does s/he eat alone? Yes, unless out meeting with friends or his mother. Evening: What does your character do on a typical evening? The first thing he does when he comes home from work is shower. Even if he is starving, there is nothing better than the after work shower. Then he’ll either go out to eat or stay in. If he goes out: he’ll go to the bar, unless planning to meet someone. If he stays home: he’ll crack a beer and cook something homey up quick and turn on the TV to relax before sleep. How much does he/she enjoy it? His downtime is his favorite time, even if he loves the ranch. What is the ideal evening for him or her? Staying home with a beer and a good TV show. Sleep Habits: Fall asleep easily, or an insomniac? Because of how hard he works, falling asleep is usually easy for him. Though sometimes on rare occasions his mind wanders and he finds it hard to drift. Any recurring dreams? More like nightmares. Sleep soundly, or toss & turn? Soundly on most nights. Skills? Good with animals and a real people person, if that counts. What is s/he particularly unskilled at? Technology (things like, computers, laptops, phone apps.) It’s to note, texting is easy for him. Any hobbies (sports, games, arts, collecting, etc.)? Riding. Rides Western style, of course.

FAMILY OF ORIGIN:

Mother’s name (include maiden name if known/applicable): Leora Parrish Current status: Living (Age: 60 ) Mother’s occupation, if any: Housewife. Describe the mother’s relationship with character: He loves her very much and would die for her. Since he moved out, they love to meet up for dinner once in a while as he barely sees her when working on the ranch. Father’s name: Ladd Parrish III Current status: Living (Age: 64 ) Father’s occupation, if any: Rancher, borderline retired. Describe the father’s relationship with character: Used to be very loving and good but for recent personal reasons they have since broke off. Any step-parents, foster parents, or birth parents: His father listed is his biological father. But his true birth mother is Madeline Novak (If s/he is adopted, does s/he know? If not, why?) “Closed” adoption. To keep him in the family. His father is the biological father, but the mother is some mistress who his father paid off. The wife does not know of the affair and believes Beauford was an unrelated adoption. Beauford has no knowledge of the adoption and was adopted as an infant. Sibling(s): Savannah is the middle child and Delilah is the youngest. Relationship(s) with character: Savannah and him are so close people can even mistake them for twins, despite unknowingly being half siblings they look extremely alike. Him and Delilah are also close, but not as close as him and Savannah. If he could admit, Savannah is one of his best friends, and he definitely is not one to throw that title around.

THE PAST:

Home town: Charleston, South Carolina Was his/her childhood happy? Troubled? Dull? Very happy. He loved living on the ranch and waking up early to help collect chicken eggs and feed the baby goats their milk. He’d love to wander and have his father allow him to ride around the back of a horse (holding onto him, of course.) Does the character remember it accurately? Yes, he could say so. Like anybody, there are some blank spots. Earliest memory: Collecting chicken eggs from the coop, definitely broke some here or there. Happiest memory: His mother and father gifted him with Bamboo when he entered his teens (13th birthday) as his personal horse. When he turned 18 was when he purchased Chutney as a filly. Saddest memory: When his father murdered that woman. If he knew that was his biological mother it would tear his whole family apart. It still tears him apart everyday for keeping it a secret, though it seems no one missed the woman at this point in time. How much school did s/he attend, if any? He was supposed to be home schooled, like his sisters eventually were. But on a promise that he’d still manage with helping on the ranch he was granted the ability to attend public school. Did/does s/he like school? Even with the scorn of his family surname, school was a breeze. He was always a charmer to both teachers and girls and either way he was very bright and intelligent, acing most subjects. Most significant childhood event: Was when his sister Savannah was born. She was always incredibly ill and because of his father’s alcoholism at the time, Beau always took care of her. It was at this moment, he believed he truly became who he was meant to be in life, changing his dynamic for good ---as the caretaker and a man. Other significant childhood events: Learning to ride, taking care of Delilah, shaking his father from his alcoholism. Significant past jobs: Has always worked on the family ranch. Police record: Nothing serious, though he always gets into trouble here or there for his daredevil qualities. He always seems to get off with a warning though as the whole police force deems him a good man with definitive ties to the community and that he is not at all a risk. First crush/romantic love? His first crush was just a young brunette in elementary. But his first love is noted to be Emilia Sullivan. What was his/her first sexual experience? There was another girl before Emilia, though she was nothing as serious. Still relative though as he takes relationships very seriously. Is it a positive or negative memory? Positive of course, he got laid. Major illnesses, accidents or traumas? He has had sprained wrists or ankles here or there but that’s just normal wear and tear on the farm. The most serious was a broken arm from a horse landing on him, which could have been more serious had it landed otherwise. There has also been one minor concussion when he was thrown off of Chutney after riding her the first time. How is s/he still affected, if at all? No long lasting effects, though on rainy days his arm can sometimes ache, nothing serious.

RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHERS:

Who is his/her best friend? Rafferty Collier. His sister, Savannah. Who are his/her other close friends? Avery Faraday, Spencer Moreau, Bethany Tremonti. Others are also significant, but these are just a few off the top of his head. How in general does the character relate to friends? He is definitely a people person. Gets along well with everybody, really. … to strangers? Easily attracts others, whether romantically or in friendship. … to spouse/Lover? He is always very sweet and loving, thought typically has a wall up. He loves to relate to any significant other but unfortunately feels it’s hard to express emotions. For some reason he finds it hard to trust, but if you trust in him, he will have your secret to the grave. … to past spouses/lovers? Beauford is never one to show a grudge. He will welcome even past lovers with friendship or open arms. Though rekindling a romantic relationship may be hard for him, but friendship he is open to and very friendly. … to other family members? To his mother and sisters he has always been kind, loving and protective. They always have a very good relationship, keeping in touch, always. Like stated before, Savannah is his best friend and he sees his mother weekly for dinner nights. Him and his father though, have recently lost tough for personal reasons. … to the same sex? He is always a jokester and a daredevil always trying to have fun and goof off on his free time. If necessary he’d be there for his friends no matter what. … to the opposite sex? He can come off as very flirtatious but in most situations he is just being polite and gentleman-like. Just like with any gender of friend, he loves to just have fun and gets along with almost everybody. … to children in general? Children tend to take a liking to his loud personality. The ones he helped with riding lessons have been easy to get along with as well. It’s to note he dreams of having children of his own one day and adores kids. … to others who are more successful? He tends to act more humble around them but is not afraid to note how happy and passionate he is with his own profession. Still, he’d treat them as any other with an open mind and possible friendship. … to others who are less successful? He’d still treat them as any other with an open mind and possible friendship. … to authority (police, IRS, politicians, attorneys, doctors, etc.)? He’s always willing to help in any situation and as always is very kind. It takes a lot to bring out a negative feeling in him so he is typically seen to get along with everybody unless somebody doesn’t like him for whatever reason. Even then, he’d be civil, though he may wish to find out why they don’t like him. What do most people consider his/her most likeable trait? Physical: Face/Eyes/Body Personality: Ingenuity/Generosity What do most people consider his/her biggest flaw? His forgiving nature. Any secret attractions/crushes? None to note at this time. In romantic relationships, is s/he generally monogamous or uncommitted? Always extremely committed. He could never dream of cheating on a significant other. Is his/her sexual behavior inhibited, average, experimental, or reckless? Average, maybe experimental if with the right partner. Whom does s/he dislike most, and why? His father. Because of reasons which will not be stated. Murder. Whom does s/he like most, and why? He has many friends he gets along with but Rafferty and his siser, Savannah can be considered ones he likes the most besides his mother. Family is everything and he could even consider Rafferty like a brother. Who’s the most important person in his/her life right now, and why? None of dire importance at this time. Who was his/her biggest influence, and why? His father before Ladd spiraled into alcoholism. Person s/he most misunderstands or misjudges: Not to Beau’s knowledge, but definitely his father. Has s/he lost touch with anyone significant in his/her life? In the past, he has decided not to speak with his father anymore. And before seeing her again, he had lost touch with Emilia long ago. If so, why? With his father, it’s personal reasons that won’t be explained. (The murder of the woman.) This was also the leading reason to his distance with Emilia, as they were both pushing each other away. Whom does s/he most rely on for practical advice? Typically himself, he isn’t the type of person to bring up his suffering or hard times to others. Whom does s/he most rely on for emotional support? Definitely his sister, Savannah. Whom, if anyone, does s/he support (e.g. advice or emotional support)? Anyone who needs it. He is always very open to others and helping them.

MENTAL ATTITUDE/PERSONAL BELIEFS:

Any psychological issues (e.g. phobias, depression, paranoia, narcissism, etc.)? There is a possibly of psychological issues, though no treatment or discovery has been sought out. Is s/he an optimist or pessimist? Externally, he is always seen as very optimistic. Even internally, he usually has a bright outlook unless on himself at times. Meyers Briggs Personality Type (GO HERE): ESTJ Is s/he cautious, brave, or reckless in his/her approach to life? A bit reckless when it comes to actual life. When it comes to work he is always very diligent and doesn’t stray far from the norm. What does s/he most value/prioritize (family, money, success, religion, etc.)? Family is number one to him as are friends. He believes those are the good things in life. Whom does s/he really love best? His mother and sisters. Romantically, he couldn’t admit anyone. Whom or what would s/he be willing to die for? Family and some close friends and ex girlfriends. Is s/he generally compassionate or self-involved? He is a definite mixture of both. To most he is very compassionate and understanding but there are many times he can be selfish in who he is. Personal philosophy: “Two things define you. Your patience when you have nothing. And your attitude when you have everything.” What’s his/her most embarrassing moment? He’s not embarrassed easily so there is no definite answer to this that he could remember. What is his/her secret wish? To be successful. What (or who) is his/her biggest fear? Not being loved back by somebody he gives his feelings too. Political party or beliefs, if any: Not into politics. Does s/he believe in fate or destiny? If something is meant to happen, it’ll happen. Is s/he superstitious? No, he’s not. Character’s greatest strength: His determination. Other good characteristics: His strength, protectiveness, he’d even count his sacrificial nature for loved ones. Character’s greatest flaw: Inability to properly open up to people. Other character flaws: Temper in great stress, selfishness, impulsive nature. What are his/her own favorite attributes (both physical and personal)? Physical: It’s hard for him to say. Personal: The love he carries. What about least favorite? Physical: He struggles with self confidence from time to time. He always thinks he can better himself. Personal: Sometimes, his impulsive nature can get him into trouble. Are these feelings accurate? I mean, if you look at him, physically, no. Personally, yes. How does s/he think others perceive him or her? (And is this accurate?) He thinks his thoughts above all are true and that others must think the same, whether that’s good or bad. Biggest regret: Perhaps, entrusting his fathers secret or letting it consume him. Other regrets: N/A. He doesn’t regret much. Proudest accomplishment: The ranch. It may not be a complete and proper success but he is so proud of it now. Other accomplishments: Moving into a place of his own, apartment or not, he’s proud to be living on his own. Character’s biggest secret(s)? His father murdering another. Who else knows (if anyone)? Just the culprit, his father. How does s/he react to a crisis? He tends to be calm, cool and collected unless it strives a serious nerve. If somebody who reacts chaotically to crisis is around he’d be angered easily. What usually causes the problems in his/her life (romance, finances, friends, rivals, colleagues, personality flaws, health, etc.)? Finances, his own self consciousness and his impulsive nature. What would s/he most like to change about her-/himself? Why? He wishes to improve on many physical attributes, he’d just never admit that. What event or occurrence does s/he most dread or fear? Police coming to the ranch on recent discoveries. What does he/she actively work to gain, keep or protect? His family is something he strives to keep and protect at all times, from anything.

Food: Any type of comfort food. Drink: Beer/liquor, really. Non-Alcoholic would be something like iced tea or just water. Color: Maroon. Book: He’d never been a big reader. Sport: Football, if riding counts, there’s that, too. Hangout(s): Out deep in the acres of the ranch, local pub, streets near his apartment.
