Changing Seas Season 6 Saving Sawfish
Historic records report sightings of Smalltooth Sawfish as far north as New York and as far west as the Texas-Mexico border. But today, these strange creatures can be found only in South Florida. Smalltooth Sawfish suffered drastic population reduction and became endangered due to habitat loss and overfishing. Now scientists are conducting research to save the species, and tracking their movements using satellite and acoustic tags.
