if i’d known, i could have had a better life.
Is it me or Nayuta grew a lot in such a small period of time? I assume her age and appearance is connected to how powerful she is so she's getting stronger right??
And so it is! Exactly Ano!! I think demons grow faster. in chapter 97 when Denji sees Kishibe again, Denji explains how he killed Makima (he was able to kill her as Denji heartless/Pochita because she only saw the Chainsaw demon), he also explains that he ate and cooked her to avoid any resurrection/regeneration
Since at the beginning of the chapter Denji is still eating meat, and meat doesn't keep for long, it must have taken… two weeks maximum between Makima's murder and her rebirth as Nayuta (since she intervenes in the same chapter)
I'm writing without checking but with information in mind but what is sure is that if Nayuta had a "normal" development, she would still be in the infant state I think there's a year that passed between part 1 and 2, that explains why Nayuta grew so much but also why Denji is already saving money Because it might only be a matter of one or two years before Nayuta has the physical appearance of a student ready to go to university Denji says so! She is already ahead of him intellectually, maybe she already has the level even with the appearance of a child to integrate it In short, both intellectually and physically, Nayuta is developing much faster
I think all demons grow faster (not related to their power), this would be consistent with their very fast healing and regeneration ability
Adding : I had read your question a little quickly and the theory according to which the development of a demon is proportional to that of its power, is probable. and would even be logical. It would explain why they don't grow old too: they don't grow up anymore when they have their full powers back!
THIS WAS THE FIRST ARC?!
First, i must say that this wrapped up way more nicely then expected, and yet i am still pretty sad about the ending.
We lost, power, aki, reze, which is pretty uncool, because i love them, but on the upside, we still have denji and kobeni, and i was pretty sure at least one of them would die before this point.
with part two and an anime, i am terrified and excited for the future of this series, as this author has shown his skills at making me sad
end of part 1: public safety arc.
