I’ve finished restoring this wonderful vintage electric winder - the Simet winder.
Although it uses cones, yarn is a wound like a cake ball winder (up over the edges of the ball).
It’s now ready if needed for the upcoming #kcv2023 Knit City Vancouver Sep 23&24 (if we need to wind something quick - although the event does have a winding booth).

Stay tuned for a cool new idea.... ;) New large demo event simplified multi-machine robust table created this weekend in our living-room 😉 Lightweight and sturdy, this table offers all one needs and more with yarn winding optional edge clamping, plenty of lamp table clamping, demo paperwork display etc. Lower removable storage with stem weight and other accessory side storage. I find that when setup in public space, people tend to crowd in so using a table like this allows a bit more space with ease to even use two machines securely with storage and more.
