Day 20: Native Womyn role model. | I always thought the best role model a person can ever ask for is their grandma. The first photo is of paternal grandma. There are few memories i have of her but I clearly remember her cooking and the hymns she sings. I don’t have many photos of her but this was taken by me in 2006. The second photo is my material grandmother, and she was the one who tied my hair and molded me for my Kinaaldá. She not my moms birth mother but she is the only grandma I knew growing up. She has accepted us as her grandkids and for that I’m grateful to have her in my life. I known her to work hard and continue to take college classes when she was need to refurbish on her early child education. Day 14: #NativeLove | I think the best example of love is my parents they have been together 39 years. When I ask how did you meet there always two different answers but one thing kept the same. They only been together for a month or so and then they decided to get married.
