Suggested #OUAT prompts
Hey there! I’m new to Tumblr and enjoying the various #OnceUponATime fanfic, especially #CaptainSwan canon and canon-divergent.
I have several potential ideas but no time to write. Perhaps some of the more experienced fanfic writers would want to explore these? Or if you already have some that use these ideas, please feel free to share them!
Some of these are developed ideas and others are questions I have that could be answered. Let me know what you think!
-Henry goes to college on a fencing scholarship based on lessons from David, Neal and Hook. What would he major in? Surely something about fighting evil.
-A separate but related story to above is that Hook needs a job in Storeybrooke other than following Emma around all the time. Much to some parents’ chagrin, he is hired as a fencing coach at Henry’s school. He’s great with the kids and some moms develop a crush on the devilishly handsome pirate.
-Someone PLEASE write wedding vows for Killian and Emma (preferably referring to events and statements from throughout the series).
-Most the other characters are similar but more well rounded to their Disney counterparts except for Hook. Theory...did the story books see Blackbeard on Hook’s ship and decide to make the Hook legend be more like Blackbeard? Just a case of mistaken identity?
-A curse turns the dwarves into Smurfs. Um, no idea where that comes from. Just have fun with it.
-Slightly complicated....OK so about the pirate code. What about if they have a code against raiding ships that are from a kingdom where a girl child has been orphaned like Snow was? Out of respect, an orphaned princess’ riches were off limits. The Evil Queen/Regina hires a pirate to attack her dead husband’s ships (or maybe this is how she kills him?) and Captain Hook gets wind of this and seeks revenge against the pirate who broke the code. He captures young Snow’s inheritance and keeps it safe until the Evil Queen is defeated. What do the Charmings do with the treasure once Killian reveals he’s had it all this time?
-Ancestors of people who Hook murdered find him and try to exact revenge. Does he get despondent and assume he deserves it or does he try to win them over?
-Not canon but what if Milah and Hook had a child? Or one of the many wenches Hook was with got pregnant? Not a very developed idea...
-There are probably answers to these questions and it’s not really a prompt, but...OK so if Emma was born of True Love, doesn’t that mean Neal was too? Will he be a savior? And if Hook/Emma are declared True Love, wouldn’t their future kids be special too?
-If Killian ever does actually get to watch Netflix, what would he binge watch?
-Most of the technology seems a little aged in the show like Snow’s Polaroid and most their cell phones are the older flip phones. Is this on purpose? What’s the story behind that?
-Henry wakes up and realizes that everything that has happened was an elaborate dream.
-What happens on Captain Swan’s second date?
