au where may and drew are still rivals (like rival royalty or smth), but once they meet in a masquerade and they have no idea that they were dancing with the person they hate (BUT ACTUALLY SECRETLY LOVE) and oh my goodness, A ROMANCE BLOSSOMS!!! will there still be romance once the masks come off??

Contestshipping Week Day 5: AU

Remember that pirate au I wrote for last year’s CS week? No? Okay. Here’s some sketches & prototypes for Captain May and her first mate Drew. She has a reputation as the (in)famous Petalburg Pirate!

Those things on their fingers on the top sketches? Those are their matching wedding bands that they totally didn’t steal. May has a big ol’ diamond lined by a tiny ruby, sapphire, and emerald on either side. Drew just has the little ruby, sapphire, and emerald on a silver band.
