In the town near my college, there’s an out of service CSX caboose (a C26 Bay Window, I think). The outside is weathered and the inside has been completely gutted despite only being 45-ish years old. I thought you guys might be interested in seeing it :o)
On another note, does anyone know if there’s a way to get permission to restore it? It’d be a lot of work, but totally worth it. I...also have some ideas for the inside, but that’s irrelevant until the outside is improved. Please let me know if you have any advice!
