Lucas’ home looks from the outside to be pretty stable. His mother works for a local bank branch and his father as a project manager for some company Lucas doesn’t really get. They eat family dinner together and ask him about his day. They spoil his baby sister. Everything is fine.
Maybe that is where the guilt Lucas has comes from. Despite the normalcy of it all Lucas tends to be rather depressed and withdrawn. He hasn’t made many friends at school even though hes been attending with the same kids since elementary. He has also neglected to tell his parents about the bullying that comes with his questioning of his own sexuality. Instead he withdraws into himself, disconnecting with those around him.
