Okay Idea: What if in the Bad Batch, Hunter didn't grow his hair out to symbolise he was one of the batch. Instead he did it to say that he was not a reg. Because what if Hunter was like really quiet, right. And so he like kept getting mistaken by trainers or other clones and getting like forced into their training sessions. And I know there's like all this stuff about how they would have ways of telling the difference between each other, but there's also the reconditioning. Hunter was always acting like a recently reconditioned clone, because if he didn't-his batch could get in trouble and decommed. So what if he did it to say he was different, he wasn't reconditioned, merely quiet. Hence the long hair.
