i wish more people would think to make hours long dark ambient albums that feature talking segments in between old commercials and spooky music for me to fall asleep to at night but alas. it has never happened ever not even once

behhhhhh, do you have any spooky album recs?
anything by infinity frequencies.. the First machine is my favorite but Computer decay is for sure the most genuinely unsettling i cant even listen to it ever. repetition is a big thing for me and theres songs on there that are repetition-spooky as heck.. try out the songs Forever and especially I saw her.. also the Purpleland collection by oolonouist philosophies the first song especially is sooo.. ooooo.. just this quality i love.. Deepfall by diskette park.. Endless desert by broken light.. also Road to nowhere by ct57 is a big classic for me its four hours of art bells 90s paranormal talk show coast to coast am with dark ambient and driving noises mixed in:) super great vibe for going to sleep its often playing at such time in my bedroom 🙂↕️ tysm for asking:)!!! im very very passionate abt my spookythings..
if i get wizard high on this nighttime bus ride and listen to the spooky art bell nighttime car radio dark ambient album probably ill experience something new
midnight gas by ct57.. very important album for me these days.. excellent going to sleep music. very desolate and lonely and pathetic but in a very beautiful way. its really pretty. it feels like being left alone and finding solace in that. like a long forgotten music box playing on its own. something tragic but beautiful. a really special type of emotion to me. the way it crackles and peaks sounds like moments of strong emotion to me, like its on the verge of tears but manages to hold them back. i dont knoww. just listen to some of the first song..
thought u might enjoy this anecdote—i was listening to road to nowhere by CT57 when my mom came in the room to talk to me about something. during the conversation she asked “what is this scary music youre listening to?” and internally i started laughing my fucking ass offffff
also i found CT57 through you in the first place so thank you for that! <3
FJFHDBJDJFJDJDJ amazingggg. the other day i was listening to. some manner of signalwave i think i forget what. and it struck me how strange it would feel to overhear thjs music through my bedroom walls. and then i gulped all scareds like scooby-doo
probably asked before but does anyone have any recs for nighttime music thats specifically like Road to nowhere by Ct57 in terms of being not so focused on song structures but just this very eerie yet calm sort of ambient vibe. like for context RTN is a four hour album of dark ambient/vaporwave type music in between nighttime driving sounds as well as radio commercials and snippets of Art bell's paranormal public access shows Coast to coast am and Midnight in the desert. he talks with callers about things such as black eyed children, the ghostly wails of air raid sirens heard in the english countryside, following an ant for five hours, etc. the whole thing feels very lonely and creepy in a way which makes it intensely comforting as something to listen to when im in bed at night. however nothing else from Ct57 is nearly as long or cohesive sadly. just a very unique and special vibe to me that id love more of. so yaaaa thats my specific as fuck request LOL :p
best part of the four hour art bell dark ambient album is when it will get to the end of a commercial block and there will be like an upbeat 90s radio jingle followed immediately by a return to the Ominous Tones. it evokes this feeling of specifically the muppet version of the ghost of christmas future gesturing to me that its time for us to move on. pick up road to nowhere by ct57 the next time u go to bed
cold and hazy? :O
29 albums, fave is the art bell dark ambient album Road to Nowhere by CT57 :3
