Blogg 15/12/2011 Better and busy….

  Weather has turned unseasonably warm. It was 55F the other nite and almost 60F during the day. Where is my winter? Cooler today and chance of rain/snow on monday and tuesday.

  I think I may survive. My cold or crud or whatever, is better. Only minor coughing and not quite as tired. Three and a half weeks. Ick.

  On monday I drove to see grandbaby Ava. She has sure changed. Now she laughs and smiles. I got to feed her a bottle. And she slept in my lap. Nice afternoon. And we are getting together for Christmas. An unexpected bonus.

  Tuesday I did nothing. Thought I had a meeting but did not. A lazy day.

  Wednesday I met Sally for lunch. We ate at the Swedish Crown. I had köttbulle – Swedish meatballs. Very good. Had a new waiter there that was very good. And he speaks Spanish. I can practice now at 2 places.

  Had an eye doctor app’t in the afternoon to check my field of vision. All was ok. I was relieved.

  Late wednesday afternoon I met Mary back at the the Swedish Crown in the Vasa, their bar. I had a Cuba Libre to drink. Quite awesome. And the new waiter took care of us. Name is Hector. We may become friends. Nice guy!! We had fun talking to him!

  Today was a busy day. Got up before the sun to pick up my friend Mark and take him to the Wichita Airport so he could fly home for the holidays. Then I shopped at Pier 1, Bed, Bath, & Beyond, Sephora, Kohl’s, & the Hemslöjd. I treated myself to lunch at Yia Yia’s. Before going to the Hemslöjd, I stopped at the White Peacock for some tea and relaxation.

  I needed some relaxation. When I got home my dr. office called and told me my insurance had been cancelled. How??? I called them. Well, they said I had insufficient funds in my back account and cancelled it. I get an email when my account goes below $100 and I run in to deposit more. They said they tried to call me. Huh? I had no message on my cell or home phone. They have my cellphone number and it is always with me. No strange calls on it. Damn liars. They are checking to see if I can be reinstated. I was so upset I could not eat supper and sat and cried. All insurance companies are evil. Evil.
