I haven’t done a cube mosaic in a while, so I figured I’d do another one while I’m on that Decidueye hype.

I couldn’t find a good pixel art for Decidueye so I actually made him in a portrait style. It was kind of hard to make because his design actually used all 6 colors so I had to yellow his feathers up and it turned out alright.

Not my favorite cube mosaic but it turned out better than I thought it would.

So here’s my first attempt at a portrait-style cube mosaic. I picked Chloe Price because I’m very familiar with her and it helped created the template from the image.

The process was completely new to me. It was mostly just trying a bunch of tweaks to the processes that automate the majority of it. It ended creating a bunch of weird images that I had to manually edit to create a somewhat clean version for the template. I’ve included the base image and my template in case there’s anyone that ever wants to use it.

So I really like the design of this winged strawberry from Celeste. I got it tattooed and also made a cube mosaic out of it. (The tattoo was a couple of weeks ago but I forgot to post it on here.)

Damn. I know Life is Strange Season 2 Episode 2 is out but I gotta finish watching the Punisher on Netflix first. I’m almost done then I’ll get to that.
