They’re back!

I had to drew these two first because they’ve been gone for almost half a year but they’re back and I love their new designs so much.

Lapis’ floofy pants and sandals. Peri’s glasses and her weapon being a simple trash can lid. Perfection.

Expect more gems soon all their new designs are great and even the new fusions were awesome.

So with this comic I finally get to see the post-game Pricefield road trip that I’ve wanted even if it is only for a little bit. Either way I super love the dynamic of these characters, Emma Vieceli (the writer of the comic) is doing phenomenal handling the characters that I like so much.

Also, a bunch of weird things are going down so I think after this issue it might get really hard to praise without spoiling too much so I might not do it for the next couple of issues of the comic, we’ll see. It ultimately depends on where this is all headed and since it was originally only supposed to be four issues it might be fine, I don’t know.

I sketched out some cool Mimikyu variants for today.

I tried out a bunch of different types. I think my favorite is the Wobbuffet one with the balloon and paper arms taped on there.

So here’s my first attempt at a portrait-style cube mosaic. I picked Chloe Price because I’m very familiar with her and it helped created the template from the image.

The process was completely new to me. It was mostly just trying a bunch of tweaks to the processes that automate the majority of it. It ended creating a bunch of weird images that I had to manually edit to create a somewhat clean version for the template. I’ve included the base image and my template in case there’s anyone that ever wants to use it.

A week later and the Magic-only playthrough is getting fun. I’m keeping all the magic weapons that I had for later use.

I’m going doodle up some of my new favorite Smash Ultimate characters for a bit. Starting my current main: Jigglypuff!

I think she’s a lot more fun to play than in Melee but maybe it’s just the updated movement overall. Her rest combos are a bit easier which adds to her fun. I still can’t figure out how to get in on a lot of the swordies but I’m gonna keep playing and keep improving.

Apparently I never posted about how much I liked the Life is Strange comic when it came out, and since I’m about to get the second one soon and I’m go ahead and do that.

From what’s shown so far it’s looking really great. I like the art style and how the characters and situation from the game is handled a year later.

Chloe sometimes calls Max, “Maximus” now and I love it so much. Like soo much.

I can’t wait to see how the story unfolds and I’m really ready for more especially since they’ve been confirmed to have more than just 4 comics that were originally planned.

I usually get my comics about a week after they come out so around late next week I’ll post about the second comic.

So I didn’t really have much time for art stuff today but I am starting a Terraria run since my last computer reset apparently killed my world with over 200 hours on it so I’m starting that over.

I’m currently doing a magic weapons only run with Em. I haven’t done this run before and it’s pretty fun so far. I’m almost at the halfway mark and I started two days ago. Enjoy this little screenshot of my current base.
