@meaninglessprose the post doesnt rly say that anywhere so like it comes across and is interpreted as a general message. to which my point still stands: why are they specifically targeting lesbians and not just saying gay people lmfao ��

to answer all your questions:

the post was mildly directed at fandoms i’m very active in, but it is a universal experience i see across any popular fandom with a bisexual character in it. i.e, it is a general statement because it is applicable to so many fandoms, biphobia and bi erasure, particularly of bi women, is that widespread. Life is Strange, Undertale, Avatar: LOK, Steven Universe, Homestuck, Danganronpa, Adventure Time, all of these are popular fandoms off the top of my head that star bisexual women in them that have been erased and called lesbians, most of which containing more than 1 that fits that demographic.

i said lesbians because bisexual women in media are usually erased and called lesbians, especially on tumblr (which was my actual specification, so quit putting words in my mouth and trying to make lesbians into the victim here). 

you’re reaching for a conclusion that would justify your anger but in reality your anger can only be chalked up to a reaction to being called out on this bullshit. please stop erasing bi women.
