Волна 2: Эволюционная. С середины 2000 года до 2004 года. После того, как дотком пузырь лопнул, все цифровое объявили мертвым. Волна 3: Все меняется. После 2004 года возникла поисково-социальная эпоха GAFA (Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon) и BAT (Baidu, Alibaba, Tencent). Изменение заняло больше времени, чем прогнозировалось, но в конечном итоге влияние оказалось гораздо больше, чем предсказывали даже самые смелые визионеры. Как эти три волны выглядят в финтехе? Волна 1: Революционная. От мирового финансового кризиса 2008 года до IPO Lending Club в декабре 2014 года и усиления венчурного финансирования финтеха в 2015 году. Волна 2: Эволюционная.
