Got to spend several days in a literal South Downs Cottage with my darling husband (who, unlike me, has not been consumed by brain rot but fell in love with the South Downs all the same), and it was absolutely magical. I’m going to be daydreaming about watching the sunset and stargazing at Devil’s Dyke and hiking to the Seven Sisters for the rest of my life.
